Kalina Valcheva-Nankova Actress in Plovdiv Puppet Theatre

Education

Kalina graduated from NATFA "Kr. Sarafov" in 2023, specialty "Acting Mastery for Puppet Theater" in the class of Prof. Dr. Konstantin Karakostov. From 2008 to 2019, she was part of a Theatre Studio at Haskovo.

Creative theater experience

In the theatre studio at Haskovo, she participated in several productions, some of which are: "The Heat in November", "The Home of Bernarda Alba", "Rose on Ice", "Dragon’s Wedding" and others. During her studies at NATFA, she played in the performances "White Fairy Tale", "The Love of Don Perlimplin" and "A Random Game".
Since 2023, he has been part of the troupe of the State Puppet Theater - Plovdiv.

Awards and Nominations

2024 - "Sivina" Award for acting debut in puppetry for the roles of Ronya in "Ronya, the Robber's Daughter", directed by Hristina Arsenova, and of Piglet in "Winnie the Pooh", directed by Anna-Valeria Gostanyan.

2024 - Diploma for high creative results and contribution to Bulgarian culture in the fields of theater, puppet theater, circus, contemporary dance, classical dance and choreography, and on the occasion of May 24, the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature
