Education
From 1991 to 2000, she was a student of Prof. Todor Kirov, teacher of folk music and gadulka at the Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts "Prof. Asen Diamandiev" - Plovdiv. In 2003, she graduated from the "Ivan Vazov" language High School. In 2011, she completed a semester of Bulgarian philology at "Paisii Hilendarski" Plovdiv Univercity. In 2017, she graduated from "Chernorizets Hrabar" VFU, majoring in "Contemporary Dance Theater.
Creative theater experience
Maria has been part of the puppet theater troupe since 2013 and has performed in over twenty performances, some of which are: "Safe Tale", directed by Eva Kyosovska (2015), "The Children of Hameln", directed by Sergey Stolyarov (2015), "Home", directed by Magdalena Miteva (2015), "Queen of Spades", directed by Veselka Kuncheva (2016), "The Dragon with Purple Eyes", directed by Veselin Boydev (2017), "The Three Little Pigs", directed by Leonard Capon ( 2020).
From 1999 to 2007, she was a member of the troupe of the Private Music Hall Theater Plovdiv with choreographer and director Nikolay Serafimov. In the same period, she participated in various projects as a dancer with the troupe of the State Opera Plovdiv. From 2005 to 2013, she participated as a guest dancer in the dance studios: "Duende", "Dance mania", "Faces" in Plovdiv. Since 2015, she has been a teacher at the studio for contemporary dance and pantomime "Pantarei" in the city of Plovdiv.
Her choreographic experience includes several theatre performances: "Oedipus. The Feast of Blindness", directed by Ruslan Kudashov (Plovdiv Puppet Theatre), "I, Sisyphus", directed by Veselka Kuncheva (Puppet's Lab), "Escorial", directed by Veselin Boydev (Theatre "Hand"), "The Women from the Orange Gardens", directed by Lyubomir Kolaksizov (Stara Zagora Puppet Theatre) and many others.
