Amid the stillness of the mountains and the gentle cycle of the seasons, the mountain spirit watches over the fragile harmony of the forest. A little fox, lovingly raised by its parents, grows in play and carefree joy — until a hunter’s gunshot suddenly takes its father away.

When the hunter sets out once more on the trail, the mountain spirit intervenes, punishing him with its ancient, almost divine power. Yet in the end, it is the little fox’s kindness and pure heart that soften the hardened heart of the old hunter.

Through the changing seasons and the whispering voice of the mountain spirit, the story reflects on the lost connection between humanity and nature — a tender, poetic ode to the wild, created for both children and adults.
