We say goodbye to Vanya Sivinova for one last time

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of the bright stars of the State Puppet Theater - Plovdiv: Vanya Sivinova, who left us on May 18.

Vanya Sivinova was an actress and director, who until the end was so passionate for the puppets, for the stage, for the children. Her creative path began in 1972, when after graduating from the theater academy in the class of Prof. Atanas Ilkov, she joined the troupe of the puppet theater in Plovdiv. Here she created brilliant roles and performances. Together with Ivan and Nina Sivinovi, they created the performance "Metamorphoses", with which they presented Bulgaria in 30 countries around the world. Vanya has won numerous awards for his acting achievements over the years, and in 2015 he received the prize of AKT-Unima for outstanding contribution to Bulgarian puppetry.
