"Dunno in the Sunny City" at "The Magic Curtain" festival in Targovishte

The festival is being held for the 23rd time and presents some of the best performances for children and youth

The festival audience will be able to see the favorite character Dunno on May 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the salon of the Targovishte State Puppet Theater. The play is based on the text by Nikolay Nosov with director Elitsa Petkova, stage designers Ivaylo Nikolov and Iva Gikova and composer Plamen Petkov and has been presented at a number of prestigious forums, such as the "Puppet Fair" in Sofia, the "Golden Dolphin" in Varna and etc. 

The performances in the festival program will be judged by an international jury chaired by Ina Bozhidarova, theater expert and critic (Bulgaria) and members - Jan Irku, theater and film director (Czech Republic) and Amalia Kondoyani, playwright of the National Theater of Northern Greece - Thessaloniki (Greece). Six awards will be presented for best achievements in direction, scenography, music and acting.  Special guests at this year's edition are theater critics and cultural journalists from Germany, France and Romania. 

It is expected that more than three thousand spectators will pass through the theater halls and all accompanying events.
