PROGRAMME
From 4 to 7 September, the TheatAir 2026 International Street Arts Festival will once again transform Plovdiv into a vibrant open-air stage.
Over four festival days, artists from Bulgaria, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Argentina, Brazil and the USA will take over Plovdiv’s Main Pedestrian Street, neighbourhoods and city parks with street theatre, circus, acrobatics, music, giant puppets and performances for the whole family.

CITY PARKS
TheatAir is moving beyond Plovdiv’s city centre, bringing the festival atmosphere to three of the city’s neighbourhoods. Over three consecutive days, parks in Karshiyaka, Trakia and Hristo Smirnenski will become stages for circus, theatre, acrobatics and giant puppets.
