DESCRIPTION
The performance was created in 2014 based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "Windmill", based on the Christian parable. The protagonist of the tale - an old mill, takes care of people - grinds their flour and bakes bread, nourishes and nurses the children, protects people from bad weather, rain and snow, warms them in cold. The good old mill believes it is part of their big family. But people decide that the mill is already old and it's time to burn it and build a new, more modern one. The performance has no words, filled with Ukrainian folk songs instead, bearing the emotional weight of the play and uses the principle of the “black room”.
